Secret Gardens offer a variety of landscape design services. We can be involved in individual elements of your project or as most clients prefer, manage the entire process from garden design through to maintenance of your completed garden.
Secret Gardens offer a range of consultation services depending on the scale of your project. The design of your garden begins with Secret Gardens understanding your ideas, how you want to use your outdoor space and reviewing the garden area to be landscaped.
The consultation fee in metropolitan Sydney is $275 incl GST and is payable at the time of consultation.
Design consultation
The on site design consultation is a verbal exchange and takes between 60 to 90 minutes. Design options and products will be discussed, along with the opportunity to view other projects in Secret Gardens portfoliofor inspiration. This service is also available to interstate and international clients.
Following the consultation a Design Proposal is forwarded which outlines the fee to develop a Concept Plan.
Horticultural consultation
Secret Gardens also offer a Horticultural consultation for clients interested in planting renovations rather than structural changes.
The consultation takes up to 60 minutes. Plant options and products e.g. pots will be discussed, along with the opportunity to view projects in Secret Gardens portfolio.
Once we have seen the site, we will determine at the consultation if a planting plan is required and a fee proposal for our landscape design services will be sent following the consult.
If the scale of the project is simple, following the consultation we will send you an indicative plant palette and quotation.
The process works in four stages
- CONCEPT PLAN
An overall plan of the garden, images of the key landscape design elements, samples of materials and recommended plant species provide clients with a visual image of the new garden. - DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION
If council approval is required an application is prepared once the Concept Plan is completed. - CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
When the Concept Plan is complete a Construction budget is provided. Detailed plans are then developed for the structural elements (planting, lighting, etc.). - CONSTRUCTION QUOTATION
When drawings are complete a final Construction Quote is prepared for the installation of the new garden.

Following an on-site consultation we will develop a Garden maintenance program tailored for your garden. This outlines the hours required, services and business terms.
