Child friendly gardens (part 3) | Chalkboards
The humble chalkboard is both educational and a quick and cost-effective element to keep the kids entertained. An essential part of a child friendly garden, it requires little space and provides fun and practicality. More and more we’re also seeing their use in kitchens for recipes, shopping lists and general notes.
It is extremely easy to create a chalkboard either inside or outside the house. Simply paint a Fibre Cement Sheet with chalkboard paint and fix with screws to a wall. Chalkboard paint is easily available from most painting and hardware stores. If you have a section of wall inside the house simply paint over the existing paint with chalk board paint and that’s it!
