Secret Gardens has enjoyed success over the last twenty years and we believe that to be part of a community you need to give back to that community. We receive a lot of requests and unfortunately cannot do everything. We have focused our efforts on supporting 4 local charities that support children.
Approached by Fairy Sparkle after the garden was closed due to mosquitoes, Secret Gardens created a design that would allow the kids to play; have their therapy and also a place parents could enjoy as well. With the support of our suppliers, the garden was completely revamped with new plants, paths, furniture, irrigation and lighting. Secret Gardens continues to look after the garden once a month to ensure the garden is maintained, grows and can be enjoyed all the time. Visit Sydney Children’s Hospital »
Each year, one of our generous clients opens their garden for the weekend. The Hidden Garden Festival has grown in popularity and last year 45 gardens were open on the weekend. All tickets sold fundraise for a charity, which changes every year. This year it is Father Chris Riley’s ‘youth off the streets’, and last year they raised money for another garden to be renovated at the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Visit Hidden Garden Festival »
Secret Gardens has been involved with Heartkids for several years. We take part in the garden tour that sees about 200 people visit 5-6 gardens in a day. We also support the Heartkids ball by supplying prizes. Visit Heartkids »
A sponsor since 2013, Secret Gardens acknowledge the Surf Life Saving clubs as one the most passionate community groups, where almost everyone is a volunteer. We enjoy supporting the nippers program in producing the surf life savers of the future. Visit Coogee Nippers »
