Our involvement with this garden commenced 20 years ago when we were first engaged by the previous owner. At this time there were very few redeeming features, namely some stands of palms in the upper half of the garden. The site was dominated by lawn, there were some poor landscaping elements and there was little privacy. Our design introduced a series of structural elements including sandstone details throughout, areas for entertaining and a garden studio. The greater part of our scope though was establishing the gardens, injecting expansive drifts of planting which define a series of garden rooms that afford our clients absolute privacy through a diverse range of plant species. This focus has continued with the new owners as we continue to manage and develop the gardens on an ongoing basis.
