Front garden landscape design by Secret Gardens featuring mature olive trees, agave and sandstone retaining wall, Bellevue Hill Sydney

Following an inspired house renovation by architect Luigi Rosselli, the owners of this garden in Sydney’s eastern suburbs wanted to create a private paradise with sun-soaked echoes of California and the Mediterranean. A key component of our scope was the redesign of the front garden which is elevated from the street. To provide picturesque views from within the home as well as an engaging approach for guests on arrival, we proposed a wonderfully rich tapestry of shapes and textures through our planting scheme. This included a group of mature olives to take the edge off the afternoon sun.
