We were engaged by Platinum Asset Management to create a garden across their terraces on Level 8 and level 9 in the heart of Circular Quay. The brief was fairly open, they wanted a variety of areas to cater for a variety of uses. Our focus was to ensure that these break out areas, be it for meal breaks or informal meetings, would be set amongst abundant foliage, far removed from the city skyline. A series of steel custom planters, over 90 in total, were arranged to create movement and encourage exploration amongst a relaxed and private environment. The plant palette was simple, species were chosen for their hardiness as well as their ability to move with the breeze, an important element when factoring in the outlook for staff.
