This late Federation home underwent a substantial renovation to both the residence and surrounding gardens, bringing renewed harmony between the home and its surroundings.
The front entry was redefined through a series of off-form concrete steps and landings, providing a clear visual language delineating the front entry path and the driveway.
Planting was carefully considered to balance softness with structure, combining loose, textural foliage with strong architectural elements to complement the built form and the established hedges. From the rooftop, framed views extend across Taylors Bay, anchoring the home within its coastal context.
The rear garden was designed around clean, simple lines to support a seamless indoor–outdoor lifestyle. A generous pergola anchors the space, while an integrated planter and BBQ structure, supporting an existing mature Phoenix Palm, draws the eye outward, creating a welcoming environment for both everyday use and entertaining.
